Most of what I have is lotek: things which work to a small degree, before there were better options.
* Your ankles and wrists have a large flow of blood, and can be used to cool the whole body. Immersing your wrists and ankles in ice water, or just cold water, can help amazingly.
* Airflow is key, especially if your building gets warmer than the outside ambient temperature. A box fan in a window blowing out (warm side) is more effective than blowing in (cool side.)

@likelyjanlukas * Airflow: bathroom fans, stove hoods which actually exhaust outside. * Airflow: an air-chute 'sail' hung out a window to redirect breeze inside - very diy, but often breaks rules. * If you know what a swamp cooler is? * Hot water bottles filled with ice/cold water - in the lap if you are sitting and working, or hung so it touches your back when standing. * If the humidity is moderate or low, fine mist spray bottles (usually for plants) will help with evaporation cooling. 2/
