Look, I know this is an apples (sorry) to oranges comparison, but I can't help thinking that when we're getting excited about a 42hr battery life for a watch, we've made a wrong turn somewhere.
Casio G-Shock Tough Solar battery life: est. 15-20 years.

@timfoster@mastodon.social Not a wrong comparison at all. Of course there are always tradeoffs, so more features will mean less battery time. But the difference is so huge that this is not a with argument at all.
