@zyd no, when I tried it a year or two I ran into some pretty serious bugs that made it a non-starter for Fennel
I expect those have been fixed, but the timing wasn't right for me; I couldn't wait for the fixes before moving off git send-email
I would definitely be open to trying it, but I don't know how to start, because I don't want to make it an official thing for Fennel (adding more "blessed" patch submission methods would just be confusing at this point) and I don't have other projects that get patches
definitely a bit of a chicken/egg problem

@technomancy Gotcha. I think Simon Tatham's approach is more applicable to me anyway (and resonates) but was curious. Would like to see more options to contribute to projects other than the Github workflow. Though I use sourcehut, can't say I exactly like or prefer email-based patches, it's just the only existing alternative that lets me not use a browser (I like to reduce context switches when they aren't meaningfully changing what task I'm working on).
