@technomancy Gotcha. I think Simon Tatham's approach is more applicable to me anyway (and resonates) but was curious. Would like to see more options to contribute to projects other than the Github workflow. Though I use sourcehut, can't say I exactly like or prefer email-based patches, it's just the only existing alternative that lets me not use a browser (I like to reduce context switches when they aren't meaningfully changing what task I'm working on).

@zyd@yap.zyd.lol I really wish sourcehut's own docs would lay off the "you must use git send-email!" propaganda; it is not good and if you insist on email you'll get better results by using attachments I appreciated Tatham's take on that, and also the emphasis on "use whatever you as the contributor feel comfortable with"
