I would argue that Watson tried (and failed) to incorporate expert systems.
The current "AI" don't and are even worse
Just masked by using more data to pretend that it is working.
I'm getting more and more worried how people who i thought highly off totally fall into this trap

@realn2s @rootwyrm They didn't try. In ye olde days, my team reached out internally with a practical application since it was the company mandate at the time. The Watson team told us: "it's just a bunch of open source ML models cobbled together. Build it yourself."
