If anyone has any tourist-y suggestions for someone (me) visiting Stuttgart Germany, I’d appreciate it. Weather-wise, I’ll be visiting next month. I heard the Mercedes museum was worth seeing, and that there were some good mineral baths there, but I don't have any specific recommendations.

@Drwave Never been, but I’d totally check out the Porsche museum. https://www.porsche.com/stories/experience/where-is-the-porsche-museum/

@Drwave The Porsche museum is a great place. I loved it! If your there before May 10th, Frühlingsfestes is the most amazing immersion in German culture. Liked it better than Oktoberfest.

  • @Drwave Leaning into your museum persona: overlooking the valley on the north western side, you find a collection of buildings from a 1927 architecture exhibition. One building by Le Corbusier is a small museum open to the public. https://weissenhofmuseum.de/en/siedlung/#die-haeuser

@Drwave I liked the Mercedes Benz museum. I unfortunately didn't have much time in the city since I only visited for work so can't offer much more than that.

@Drwave May I ask for lots of pics of the Mercedes museum, if you get there? Please, and thank you.🙏

@Drwave Either (or both) of the Mercedes or Porsche museums, and the SWR Fernsehturm (TV tower) which has an observation deck and restaurant. I don't know if you're a racing fan or not, but the old Solitude circuit can still be driven (it's all public roads) and there's a nice Gasthaus/beer garden (Biergarten Glemseck) on what used to be turn 1. Whatever you do, I'm envious! Viel Spaß!
