Having been to both Dallas Pen Show and Little Craft Fest, here's my take on Texas pen shows: If you want nibmeisters, custom pens, or vintage pens, go to Dallas Pen Show. It's #FountainPens all the way down. The downside of this is it is FULL of snobby, gatekeepy old white men who would love to sell you something while treating you like a second-class citizen if you are anything other than a cis het white man. If you want anything else including modern FPs, go to Little Craft Fest.

@ldottxt@kind.social You're saying about a stationery show I really want to say is there a moving one?

@ldottxt@kind.social It seemed overly crowded to me and I was too annoyed to wait in the lines to finish the stamp rally on Friday. Entirely possible that I was just having a cranky day. And having said that, I do love being able to see the artists and brands in person. Is the Dallas show that cramped too?
