I often wonder how many people are using my app. App Store Connect gives me some analytics about “sessions”, but it doesn’t include people who have opted out of “share with developers” at the OS level.
Also, for a Mac app like mine, I’m not even sure what they mean by a “session”. I just leave it running all day, every day - how many “sessions” is that?
Anyway, I have intentionally chosen not to have any additional analytics, because I believe privacy is more important. So, this is how it is.

It doesn’t really matter. There’s nothing actionable I could do with that kind of data anyway. It would just make me feel better, maybe. Or worse. In the end, either I’m making money, or I’m not. I wish it didn’t have to be that way, but that’s the world we live in.
