@ingram @Andii @pluralistic The ones I've seen have not had any sort of active tracking. They've been fixed installations with sturdy frames with bifacial panels in a vertical or near vertical orientation to catch the earliest possible morning rays. Most of the installs I've seen are basically looking to get some juice flowing into the battery banks after they've run low overnight and tide the person over until there's more significant midday generating capacity.

    @Infoseepage @Andii @pluralistic MPPT is an electrical thing, it makes sure power it taken from the panels at the best voltage. I'm pretty sure all inverters have some form of MPPT, but better ones will have 2 or 3 that allow for different insolation, and hence optimum voltage, between strings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximum_power_point_tracking?wprov=sfla1
