I need some automated test setup for the KNX devices. I now have BCU1, BCU2, System 7 and System B devices with TP1, RF and IP link layers. The latter three mask versions with optional security support. Add product definition generation code for the ETS. Add a client library that can partly program these devices. I can't possibly test all of these things manually by flashing, provisioning with key material and serial numbers, importing the devices in the ETS, configuring them, programming them and pressing buttons. I need devboards with multiplexed GPIOs, serial ports and JTAG connections to cover all of this properly and catch regressions. Also some kind of plugin that I can use to control the ETS... I bet I can hack something together here, but it's not going to be nice. Yes, there are the conformance tests, but they are relatively shallow in certain places and passing them doesn't guarantee that everything works. Not sure if test labs have their own set of tests in addition to the official testing suite covering more ground. How much shit do I need to build for this project? 😫
