Finally watched Killers of the Flower Moon.
My main takeaway is that it is a heartbreaking tragic story (I read the book a while ago), and there are parts of a good film here. but it was just too long. It should have been cut to be a much shorter film, it just made as a mini series. 4 episodes would give about the same length, but be better structured.
Also, why the radio show framing at the end? That was an odd choice. As was Scorcese's self-insert.

It was also an interesting and not really great choice to center DiCaprio's Burkhart on the film. I feel it would have been more appropriate to focus more on Molly, even if that meant that more events would have been shared through characters explaining. This wasn't so much an issue with Grann's book because it was written more as a straightforward history, and it also focused more on the start of the FBI, as this was one of their first major cases.
