The nice thing about the journal that takes 10 months to reply but also takes 6-10 poems per submission (they also pay well, they legitimately earn that long response time) is that every year you get a tiny snapshot of your working themes and recent-ish output. Didn't *feel* like I had an interesting year in drafting poetry? But: not bad, not bad. #poetry
