genuinely still boggles me that the US doesn’t use the A4 standard paper size
like what the fuck are you doing? are yall stupid? think of the extra cost of having to have custom models of printers and scanners and such, just for the north american market.
what an idiotic culture.

Unlike the ISO standard, however, the arbitrary aspect ratio forces this series to have two alternating aspect ratios. buncha clowns. and americans still demand to be taken seriously.

@_r most printers i've seen are able to support both ISO and american paper sizes, the difference between them isn't that large (and a printer/scanner in general needs to support a range of sizes, not just a few specific ones, since someone might occasionally need to get something printed on, or scanned from, paper of an unconventional size) having said that, yeah, about time the u.s. switches to a4 paper
