@trevdev @Mer__edith @signalapp I would actually love to hear her answer about WhatsApp more :-) That Telegram is not for private communications is pretty well-known I think (could be wrong).

@isagalaev @Mer__edith @signalapp The vast majority of my personal circle is on Telegram because it's not Meta/Google and it's "open source". I've watched the software start to rot over the last 3 years especially. A shift toward shoving crypto down our throats, features getting pay walled, new features behind the same pay wall, advertising, etc. Sadly for myself it's nearly time to throw telegram out with the rest.
