We were lucky to secure one more canister of olive oil - hopefully now we will last till the next harvest - which is also not sure to produce like they used to. Sometimes I notice I think more about my grandmother who lived through two world wars. She was very good at using whatever she had and not wasting anything. We did not waste at home, either. These days I am glad for that part of my education.
