most of Texas has been having drought through the fall and winter and in March we had temps up to 100°F almost every day with no rain. that is very much not usual. then, in April, it became cool and wet. I don't know what it is exactly that's sending water sneks all the way up the hill from the creek, a distance of hundreds of yards. some years I see no sneks directly. this area in general is known to be full of every kind of snek.

@LawrenceGerald@poa.st That sucks, having so much drought will probably affect a lot of the plants and animals. They might just be responding to the recent rainfall but if the creek is flowing faster and with more water they might be heading for higher ground. Do be careful, hon. Last thing you want are them coming inside or sinking fangs in an animal or worse the humans of the house. :hug:
