Battery chemistry is getting to the point where a charge is as fast as filling up with a gas pump. China is making a play to replace oil entirely (because petrodollar)

50% of oil demand is on-road applications. That can all come right off the top, batteries are good enough at this point. Probably half of "residential / commercial" will probably go away as heat pumps become cheaper than alternatives. Aviation and agriculture are very hard to replace, and petrochemicals there's just no point, so those are the most sticky ones.
