I received at least 12 emails (not counting notifications) from our school this week, and of the FIVE I received on Tuesday, I missed one sentence: my oldest is being given an award at 9 am tomorrow.
I don't think people realize the wall of noise parents receive PER child PER week.
I was already debating giving one of my Clankers it's own email account (read-only) but this is probably going to be what drives me over the edge.

@webology@mastodon.social ours send those as word documents attached to the emails. I do not love my walls of text behind a second barrier.

@webology@mastodon.social I've had success with a self hosted n8n instance hooked up to Gmail. It filters messages and when they match it fires off an agent node to summarize or do some other action
