I've been reading a new book and it really triggers one of my pet peeves. The context-switch-with-no-indication trope is really annoying as hell, e.g., you're reading about two characters. The next paragraph simply launches into a totally different topic. At least give us a " * * * " break or something--something to indicate you're on a new topic. It just slows me down when I'm reading. Suddenly, I'm two sentences into a new paragraph and I realize you've changed stuff up.
