@thibaudcolas @jong0uld Open Source maintainers are paying the price of vetting AI/slop contributions. Lots of examples of this given earlier at the DjangoCon event itself in @paulox's talk.
There's ALSO a cost for system administrators and open source hosts bearing the costs of intense AI scraping.
