Some autistic folx don’t feel safe in chaotic spaces.
Others don’t feel safe in overly structured ones.
Both are real.
Accessibility isn’t’ about “everything works for everyone”
It’s about accepting that it won’t.
Conflicting needs are real.

@theautisticcoach@neurodifferent.me People, just as a whole, really do seem to struggle to comprehend that not everyone is the same... So often I'll say "I can't do this thing, I'm just not wired that way" and they'll say "yes you can, you're just not trying hard enough." It works that way for them, it doesn't work that way for me.
