@LaF0rge With globalinnovationgathering.org there will be a group again in Berlin around re:publica. Would recommend APC, FOSSAsia, ASKnet. But most are not on fedi.

@aprica thanks, will investigate. Very surprising that initiatives in this context would not use the fediverse. Culturally that would be an obvious match to me.
