@Misofist@girlcock.club @sleepybisexual@mk.absturztau.be Of course I would never use it to describe anyone, both because I know better and also because I just conceptually do not see it as an adjective that would apply to anything living in the first place. It's firmly in the pile of "non-living objects" in terms of "what do adjectives describe" for me, like how you wouldn't describe a cat as being "crystalline" but I sure as heck would call a piece of quartz crystalline.

@rosaaeterna @sleepybisexual It being used for inanimate objects doesn't change the origin of the term. When people use the term to refer to objects in a video game twitching due to physics engine bugs, it's still a slur. When people use it to refer to their home electronics not working, it's still a slur. In the exact same way that if I used the r-slur to refer to a managerial decision, I'd still be using a slur. I have never come across a non-slur use of the words.
