I'm so tempted to reach out to this person and ask them if they're aware of how they are contributing to ableist stigma.
But also that feels like a really rude way to interact with the mutual aid post of a disabled person I don't follow. And I don't want to make myself the lolcow subject of another meta.

@Misofist Even if you don't reach out, know that you've done good by sharing this. I, for one, have been guilty of doing this: simply using the word as one I'd learned from hearing it as a child and growing up never thinking about the actual meaning or how misusing it is harmful, until today. So if nothing else, you won a (contrite) ally today. And that's a path to a better world: by making it better, one step at a time.
