Had Thursday and Friday off last week so hadn't seen the Friday afternoon email where I'm booked in to a week-long training course this week - Designing embedded systems with Yocto BitBake. When I first joined the Swedish team at my previous company, I asked for this training, since they had all done it previously, but it never happened in my 4.5 years there, despite me asking for it at least once per year. Now, the team I'm in with my new employer is about to start the same journey, of moving from C/RTOS to C++/Linux, and since I'm here at the start I'll finally get that training. A bit more notice would have been nice though. :-)
