@yrabbit So far it's only happened twice. Seems it's the down arrow or Page Down. They are right next to each other and sometimes (read: usually) hit one and not the other.
However, based on the behavior I experienced in application menus, it looks like it was the down arrow.

@peteorrall I don't know your model, but you can easily buy a keyboard for the T480 from Chinese sellers, and if you're not afraid to tinker, you can remove the key caps and check if they're dirty😜 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5qjR-dkvjM
