@jayalane Yes--the meaning is found in not *trying* to find a meaning, and thereby not imposing any idea you may have of what meaning should be or look like. One of the oldest comic strips I can remember, from Peanuts, and it had to be a dozen years old when I encountered it forty-five years ago, and memorized it. At the time, I didn't know why it rang so true with me, perhaps then I just thought it was funny. Charlie Brown and Linus are leaning on the wall, pondering the universe, as they do. Linus asks Chuck, "Why are we put on this Earth?" Chuck replies, "to help other people." Linus considers for a moment, then asks, "what are the other people here for?" ☺️🙏 @rwsoft @lifewithtrees Edit: Fix *entirely MASTODON typo* of "Linux" back to "Linus"

@ZenHeathen @rwsoft @lifewithtrees haha that's a good one. I had t read it before unless memory fails. I find other people embody pieces of reality in a concrete way that I genuinely would never come up with - for all the good things to be given a voice we need multiplicity. But who knows.
