@rwsoft The effort itself is doomed to failure. "To try to find the meaning". Yoda was right: Do, or do not--there is no try. If you try to do it, you insert the possibility of failure, and nearly guarantee it. And what if your life had meaning or purpose? You'd insert the possibility that another's did not. This is patently incorrect, and immoral. And as you say, attachment: If you are wedded to the idea of what your life is about or for, and you fail at that, you ruin your opportunity for happiness by having attached your happiness to something impermanent or unattained. Release the attachment to having a meaning or purpose, and live.
