I should have put more of a steer in, but I was going for brevity. The book is a comedy-fantasy set in the modern world and also an Orc dimension 200 years in the past that's joined with a portal. The heroes are a sandwich shop owner destined to be earths defender and his accountant Susan. The art style i'm seeing in my head is like Josh Kirby's work for Terry Pratchett - but that's probably because Terry is one of my inspirations

@jonn_blanchard What are you hoping for in terms of style? I can do comic book & fine art styles. This is a cover from my own comic which was done a few years ago. I can work in a few styles.

@jonn_blanchard I know a young woman with a masters degree who doesn’t have a full-time job and is even pet sitting for extra money. I would like to refer you to her. I think she’s good but I’m not an artist. I’m checking with her to see if she has something I can post for you from her portfolio. I also suggested she joined Mastodon.

@jonn_blanchard Depends, how shitty do you want it to look, my friend? My kids have some crayons, pencils, and pens, but I have very little artistic talent. We could probably whip something up. My going rate is $3.50 for the whole thing, soup to nuts. That's a weird phrase, isn't it? I'm not taking this seriously, so you shouldn't take me seriously. Love you! 😘
