Pursuant to my talk earlier this week about academic attempts at engaging with TTRPGs. The designer of the mega-dungeon Barrowmaze Greg Gillespie is a tenured professor and he teaches a course on D&D at a university named after a badger:

There's something pleasingly old school about him knocking points off your grade for *checks site* not having paragraphs that are between 8 and 14 sentences long. "Yes I know that there is a style guide/rulebook but these are my house rules and I shall punish you for failing to abide by them"
