I very much think that is the current tension in my local shop. Lots of people want to find people and into a face to face group, but they are finding there are no mechanism for doing so, and all the group matching type forums/sites are dead or ghost towns.

@Printdevil @Taskerland Definitely. Heck, it irritated me that when I moved to the Pacific Northwest, there were people who actually played TTRPGs, but they all wanted to do their coordination via Facebook and I could see the enshittification coming a mile away even a decade and a half ago.
