@taedryn @jollysea I voted “it brings me peace”; tho tbh by now it’s just a normal part of my life. I’ve known for 20+ years. But when I first discovered asexuality existed, it was a huge relief, mostly cuz it gave me a label I could shove in people’s faces when they went, “you’re weird, that’s not a thing, you must have some trauma” etc. I’m kinda antisocial so don’t care for flirting, although I was never hugely vocal about being ace. No buttons etc. I just go under the queer umbrella. I wear rainbow, not ace flags. (Like why TF are we grey? 😐 Boring colour.)
