So I was watching some presentations at Black Hat today, and while the content was pretty good, more than one presenter had created slides with diagrams that had that classic llm look. You know, the one with way too much text and pictures, arrows that point in weird directions, and boxes full of text. And which doesn't make sense one you actually look at it. Other than the headline, the things that are included in the diagrams have no actual meaning. And when they do, the meaning is wrong. I really should have taken photos of them. They were actually pretty funny in their ridiculousness. In several cases it was clear that they never even looked at these generated diagrams, or is there no way to actually edit them after they have been generated? Which tool are yet all using? They all have the same feel to them, so it's definitely the same one. The Black Hat judges vet the proposals, but clearly they don't see the slides because this is embarrassing. I can't believe the judges panel would have accepted them if they had seen this.
