@vale lovely read. So interesting how the "good internet" consists of both the "my website should spark joy" crowd and the "my website just needs to show text" brutalists. Despite being two very different approaches, they both tend to agree on usable, accessible websites. Meanwhile corporate websites discard usability and accessibility in pursuit of conversion. While this obsession may help usability, the moment you want to cancel a subscription, suddenly "3 clicks away" becomes a phone call.
