@jimbob @PaulMcEwan That read very similarly to my attempts to use LLMs for work. The best I've managed so far is to get it to turn my vague hand-wavey description of the problem into more specific names of methodologies that I can then search for via more traditional means. I don't know enough to know what sort of evidence you are required to show your employer to prove that you've been using Copilot, but it certainly sounds like it would be quicker to get Copilot to generate that evidence while you read the manual.

    @mlazz @PaulMcEwan burn some tokens writing bad poetry. The problem is, I think it's all just to justify the cost, someone somewhere wants evidence the thing they're paying for is being used so they can keep paying for it and maybe get invited to some cool vendor parties, or something. Like I said, I haven't been told I *have* to use it, but I sure get a lot of emails inviting me to workshops so I can "learn to use it more". I've never been told to attend a workshop encouraging me to increase my usage of the spell checker or the print preview.
