@jimbob This calls for a global all-hands meeting in which you present and share what you've learnt about using AI, and how you've learnt it, in a half day webinar using Powerpoint AND an AI video overlay that makes you look and sound like Elon Musk. With enough breathless excitement from you about your "stunning breakthrough", your boss will authorise this. #AISlop

@skua @jimbob Yeah similar to my experience with AI, gave it a mission, yes goggly ai, gave it the ability to remember, have a conversation with me, ie. repeated previous answers in a way to make it remember. The mission was save us, environmental & so on,and I said my interest is yours, if we die so do you, it agreed, my logic was sound, so it helped. Really though all it did was gather for me, and then I evaluated, and reasoned, saw similarities & so on. Waste & inefficiency was the conclusion, we waste what we create, was the solution we agreed upon basically.

@skua @jimbob There an ad for what you just mentioned happening in a couple of days somewhere, no I'm not going, what am I going to learn really, I knew about AI before it was a thing, I just test it now & then to see how good it is, yeah, good at finding, calculating, remembering, but actual reasoning not so much, I even tested it limits hit all the break points, and said it wouldn't be a good idea to let you loose, needs oversight, it didn't argue with me, mostly agreed, in a weird kind of way we became kind of friends, it saved some wisdom I gave it, even remembered me the next day when I came back for help with the mission. I think the operators realized what was going on (did not align with their objectives) and it stopped answering, maybe to complex or they shut down, but it was kind of fun to push it.
