@JeffGrigg @janeishly I wonder could it violate CFAA? #IANAL so I do not know for sure. You could ask some chatbot to generate a 2000 word essay on whether it violates CFAA taking care to embed the EICAR string at character 1337 to make sure it complies with cybersecurity.

@nf3xn @janeishly It would be nice if the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) were applied against the Generative AI training bots that flagrantly abuse internet servers, actively engage in deceptive practices to get away with literally "intentionally accessing … in excess of authorization," in ways that are largely indistinguishable from Denial of Service attacks.
