jfc these spamming assholes never give up. why can't mastodon.social have some bot just instabanning them?? tbh a regex would probably do - you don't even need an AI #DoBetter

RE: https://masto.ai/@Nonilex/117012016147314867 Any news on when the FBI are going to make arrests or is "it wasn't me it was my monkey" a legitimate defense now? Good to know.

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@sambowne/117004207837971873 US stocks are fake news. It's just how the USA prints money now. Shitty agent harness written in nodejs? That'll be ten bajillions please! Not projected to turn a profit until well after the demise of dollar as the global reserve currency? Another ten squidilions please! Data centers! but in spaaace! ffs get real. I'd give you $60 a share bucks because starlink is first to market but I don't want to go into business with...

RE: https://social.tchncs.de/@codefloe/116975380062411502 git is pretty amazing. I have used so many scms over the eons, stuff you probably have never heard of. The Microsoft ones were super bad and ate your source but before git all version control was a PITA. You can set up a git on a tiny server and ssh to push your commits. You don't need github, gitlab, gitforge, codeberg, fuckbucket or any of that shit.

I must have missed "Oracle hits 52-week low as S&P cuts credit rating to one notch above junk, others to follow" on the MSM. I'd have thought something like that would be big news. https://www.spglobal.com/ratings/en/regulatory/article/-/view/sourceId/101695609 #AI

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@sambowne/116896156539309209 Unbelievable and frankly disgusting that MIT would publish such (d/m)isinformation. What LLMs are doing is not mysterious in the slightest. They are huge, they have millions of parameters, they are still simple. This is more FUD marketing bullshit from Anthropic. Maybe they should change their name to Anthropomorphic. They are LIARS. They were lying when they named the tool J-Space. And who is surprised at all that what it says it is doi...

Something still bugging me. I keep remembering (and people keep reminding me) of the elite of the elites tier films that Spielberg has made, Encounters, ET, Raiders, Schindlers, Pt. Ryan,.. Someone reminded me of Lincoln just now. You know what? I simply don't believe he could have had anything to do with probably one of the worst films ever made. This is the school ma'am comparing two homework copybooks, and peering over horn-rimmed glasses saying 'Is this your own work Steven?&...

I grew up reading all those sci-fi tropes along the lines of the monkey's paw where robots are obedient to a fault, causing your downfall by doing literally what you say and the reality is become that we have clankers who just ignore what you tell them to do over and over and do something completely different thereby causing your downfall. #AI

People ask me; "me? what is the secret of your business success" and I tell them that I never allow some bozo to fire all the permanent staff to earn a bonus only for their successor to have to rehire them as contractors at twice the rate. Beware Z-Nuns. The ROC and its Belarusian cutouts have long provided mobility, access to community networks, and an excuse to be near sensitive sites without raising flags. They travel in pairs, are seldom searched aggressively, outreach to communities without suspicion, and their 'charitable' activities justify repeated visits to build human networks. https://lansinginstitute.org/2025/12/02/orthodoxy-as-cover-russias-intelligence-operations-through-church-structures-in-northern...

Well ok I'll accept your still anecdotal evidence but I would like to debit hours from those x1 engineers productivity gains and raise a credit for hours lost by every person affected by these outages. #AI

You know which companies #AI should be shorting the stock of? Providers of Cybersecurity Insurance. By any measure, the code Claude produces is dogshit even after MULTIPLE iterations, even for really very simple implementations. Its standard is obviously 'does not crash today'. Fine for my throwaway stuff but production hardened code? That said I have lost count the times I have thought there is going to be Ye Great Reckoning only for the world to muddle thru somehow. Amanda Ungaro and Melania #Trump likely first met sometime in 2002. Melania was almost twice her age. Victoria Giuffre reported that the Epstein network was pretty much done with you at 18. The only women left in that network after that were former victims become predators. Trump the most litigious man on Earth made a none too subtle threat to have Ungaro beaten to death with a hammer but has not filed any legal action against her for calling him Melania's "pedophile husband&amp...

We could just start eliminating Russian oligarchs one by one and nobody would really know who is doing what or who to blame. It's a beautiful time right now. We could even wear those ghastly gillets. Clone certain passports. It would be so much fun watching them flail about. They might even lend a hand themselves. We could blow smoke up the CIA ass with little bits of 'intelligence sharing' from our real allies. They feed it back to FSB. What fun. #MakeWetWorkGreatAgain

Calling your fishy high-end restaurant 'Carpe Diem' has to be the corniest of jokes meant to appeal to the lowest of low brow HNW clientelle. It's a crime really. tfw your upper class have no class. There was one on Mill Hill Broadway, it might even still be there. Not memorable for their food.

We finally find out on Piers Morgan what red pilled MTG from the Trump cult last year. According to MTG, a claim substantiated by the lawyers, Trump paid off 'Jane Doe 4' i.e. the 13 year old child that he raped in 2025. #TrumpPedo

The ancients counted on the bones of their fingers not their fingers. Finger reckoning in base 12 allows for advanced arithmetic without number tables simply by physical manipulation. We keep finding docdecahedrons like we keep finding clocks. Clocks have been in base12 for 5000 years.
