many of these projects are extremely technically impressive & i wouldn't be caught dead running one in a production workload the only thing that sparks any amount of joy so far architecturally is gVisor, but i tried running it and all of the pieces seem to fall apart violently on my system in some way i struggle to comprehend

@whitequark i've been writing a teeny-tiny thing with KVM, in secret under my pillow. it seems much safer that way. not sure yet, if system engineering or live-coding tool.

@whitequark this diagram haunts me in my dreams when I think about some people forwarding big up/downloads over this. Big data. Through the userspace. Pinning a CPU core before saturating the link.
