many of these projects are extremely technically impressive & i wouldn't be caught dead running one in a production workload
the only thing that sparks any amount of joy so far architecturally is gVisor, but i tried running it and all of the pieces seem to fall apart violently on my system in some way i struggle to comprehend

@whitequark qemu is so nuts, these days (also). but any linux process can just make its own VMs. this could do some really crazy stuff, but as I said I'm catfully studying my options.

@whitequark from my investigation they've all seemed like insane feats of engineering just to claw back basic properties that a capability-based system would have started with, and then they have their own complex bespoke systems for managing the resulting flexibility
