@kvenden Yeah, it's good to provide options! But just so you understand why these choices are sometimes made: users don't usually know about things like wide spans of text being bad for readability (it's not their job after all), but they feel the negative effects of it anyway, and may stop usage and leave bad reviews because of it. Every option is also a little extra maintenance burden.
But… I also just went to check what the max width is, and at least on macOS the width seems to be unbounded?

@jonikorpi I’m talking about the indented gap under the avatar on the left, see your screenshot. I don’t want it indented, I want the post to start direct under the avatar left aligning with the screen rather than being pushed out with wasted space on the left. That is what I’ve been referring to this whole time.
