@bw it’s the best resource for learning HTML and I’ve recommended it as well. Thank you for creating this, I really appreciate it 🙏

@bw I'm glad it's a thing that exists. I believe that it's this sort of guide that provides an escape route for people from the sinking ship of the techbro/AI/billionaire internet. A way of going back to a more useful, entertaining, and socially-functional internet.

@bw It's an awesome resource and I'm glad you wrote it. One of the first things I did after discovering the web a hundred years ago was to buy a book on writing HTML. This is both a good refresher and brings back some fond memories. :)

@bw this is awesome!! At least in the artist communities there's a definite growing interest in html/css because of ai so rampant and social media being.. what it is. (I'll actually be running a crash course workshop on it later this year!) So it's really great to have resources like this out there. :D

@bw With AI, all webpages will soon look pretty much the same. By building your own, you can stand out from the crowd. And it’s fun to do, too. Thanks for sparking people’s curiosity.

@bw bought an html book in 95 and am still fueled by the interest in computers it (re)ignited then. The web just blew me away. Now I started to use Zettelkasten looking for the same hypertext joy.

@bw Definitely glad you did! It's so well done, and there is always going to be value in learning how all of this stuff actually works. So, thank you!

@bw Oh wow - that website is very beautiful!! 😍

@bw Love what you've done here. Reading through, it mimics the process I feel like I went through, slowly, clunkily, in the '90s, when I was trying to make early sites. What a wonderful thing you've done!

@bw I have it permanently bookmarked next to my personal site and refer to it often. :)

@bw@social.lol I've been wanting to create my own website for a while now, but html (and coding in general) sounds rlly intimidating. I'm definetely gonna be looking into this guide and thanks for making it! :neodog_cute:

@bw I wrote some HTML twenty years ago. It was a great refresher when I found it. I have been thinking about translating it.

@bw thank you for creating this, I must say 👏👏 I have sent it in the past to several people who asked me how to make a web, without any knowledge prior, and it came very handy for them to learn across

@bw As someone who relied on HTML for People just this year - I'm in tech, but hadn't touched anything web-related in over a decade - thank you for writing and sharing it with the world!

@bw I'm still going to use your book to relearn how to do this someday -- I just need the universe to give me a breather first (_ )_

@bw When I was setting up a volunteer organization's website, I couldn't tell who would be maintaining it 5 years from now. I intentionally chose simple.css and recommended HTML for People. Why? Because I knew it would last. I couldn't say the same for anything other web technology. Thanks for writing something that stands the test of time.

@bw HTML is easier to learn than WordPress or Drupal.

@bw The current AI hype is loud for that part of the crowd. There are many more sets of people who need what you are passionate about. (also AI might have energy, but it won’t have passion.) Thanks for your work, from a seasoned nut who was into hypertext before there was HTML.

@bw I learned the basics of HTML and building websites in 2001, with a 4-page document a friend printed at work. We were around 20 and felt left behind. Your tutorial reminded me of that moment — and is well thought out. Thanks for the memories <3
