  • @TinJar "Women are the first to die when extreme weather hits?" I'd be interested to see actual, not anecdotal, proof of any such effect. The linked article certainly doesn't provide actual proof. Statements like "Women are the first to die when an extreme climate event happens because they'll save everyone before saving themselves"? Please. People are not a monolith or this simplistic. Plenty of women have fled natural disasters, which is fine. And plenty of men have died helping others.
