@glowl thank you for doing this btw, sadly don't have access to the supermatic we grew up with, but hoping to get hold of one second hand at some point, despite it's plastic gear train, one of the nicest machines we have used

@glowl now that we think of it, it probably is the nicest machine that is just a sewing machine you can put on a table and put away afterwards, all the better ones were (semi-)professional units with under table drive and even those came with some limitations the Elna doesn't have
