@catileptic Helen’s Closet is beloved by fat sewists (myself included) for good reason. Clear patterns and instructions, a great fit, and responsive customer support. Beware of Sew Liberated. The thin company owner makes a big deal about her sizes being inclusive but in my experience the plus sizes aren’t drafted well, they’re just bigger but not shaped great. I spent weeks trying to get their flagship dress to work and finally gave up after their only help was to do a full bust adjustment (I did, it didn’t work) or sign up for her (not cheap) class.
