@jay_peper FOSS dominates only when it comes to servers and web infrastructure, all the creative industries and even document and office work is bogged down by proprietary chains. FOSS rarely thrives there (Blender exception). Most of my complaints about idea based patents and patent hoarding by big tech was much more relevant in the 2000s then now, that is when major damage was done. The goal is to starve big corps of profit by using FOSS in industries other then servers.
