I don't even know him, but you literally started your story with this: that guy is black, and you don’t even know it!
Dude, next time you want to talk about someone who did something great, just add "for black" to the end of the text: "That was really cool... for black". Sounds offensive, right?
I don't care about your skin color, your gender, your income, your education, the neighborhood you live in, or your CS rank. But I do care that you care.
