@Broadfork @LifeTimeCooking Four, four buckets of stinging nettle with water. One, one bucket of comfrey plants from the no dig garden. Oh. We had to dig in the no dig garden. Rouge comfrey gets large in one growing season. It’s all going to be water extract multivitamins to manage the quantities. The onions, leeks, shallots and cabbages are going in. Some comfrey has to go. Ok. The soil temperature is 10.5 Celsius. #nodig, #minnesota, #Zone4b

@Pollinators @LifeTimeCooking Its always great to have those amendments. I have comfrey coming up all over the plot. I use it all for mulching or making liquid feed but if it’s growing where you really don’t want it, it’s better off out of there. Those patches are the ones I just chop and drop where they are. I dug up some wild blackberry roots from my plot too, everywhere is kept no dig where possible. But no prizes for guessing how good your soil was when you had to uproot the comfrey. 🤩
