By the way, there's a lot of "Christine humor" in ActivityPub, if you go looking for it:
- The characters in the spec are the characters from SICP, and their bios reflect as such
- In fact, the base story is hinted that the characters from SICP *are lending each other* a copy of SICP
- The example of the "source" property usage is that Alyssa is using org-mode to generate her posts on ActivityPub

I am also especially proud of the final line of ActivityPub, which I added when writing the acknowledgements. I wanted to codify that I believed the work we were doing was with purpose and a political act: > This document is dedicated to all citizens of planet Earth. You deserve freedom of communication; we hope we have contributed in some part, however small, towards that goal and right.

@cwebber Oh damn, I have a SRFI coming out very soon (as soon as Arthur gets to publishing it) and now the example section will seem totally derivative, although I’ve never read the AP spec :<
