@ai6yr from someone in the sexual health system: I actually get it. I don't support it, but I get it. The medical system should be questioned. It isn't perfect. It's actually pretty fucked up. Is vitamin k shots one of the things that's fucked up? As it happens, no, they're great. But the only way to *truly* know this is to do a deep dive on the scientific papers, read and interpret their their results yourself. If you're a neonatal haematologist, that will go great. But what if you're a veterinary dermatologist? You're basically fucked. The only thing you can do is trust your own ability to choose experts and interpretations to trust.
